1 and 2 Line Network Fax Servers
The FaxPress 2500 was designed to meet the needs of small to mid-sized businesses or workgroups. As with all Castelle fax servers, the FaxPress 2500 comes with all the necessary hardware and software to allow network users to send and receive faxes from the desktop. The FaxPress Email Gateways provide integration with popular email programs, such as Exchange, Lotus Notes, GroupWise and other SMTP-compatible systems. And since there is no per user licensing, the FaxPress 2500 can grow along with your organization.

The FaxPress 5000 was designed for larger office environments with over 100 users. Supporting either 4 or 8 analog fax lines per server, the FaxPress 5000 is an ideal solution for environments with high volume fax traffic. The FaxPress 5000 comes with all the necessary hardware and software to allow network users to send and receive faxes from the desktop. FaxPress Email Gateways provide integration with popular email programs, such as Exchange, Lotus Notes, GroupWise and other SMTP-compatible systems. Since there is no per user licensing, the FaxPress 5000 can grow along with your organization.

Castelle’s patent pending Premier technology, built on existing FaxPress hardware and software features, offers a complete, enterprise-level network faxing solution in one robust, server-class machine.

With integrated file storage for system and fax data files, a multitasking embedded Windows operating system and pre-installed FaxPress Plus client and server software, FaxPress Premier can support users in various networking environments including Microsoft Windows, Novell NetWare, Linux/Unix, and Apple Macintosh. FaxPress Premier's powerful and flexible software development kit (SDK) also allows users to develop custom fax applications, while the drop directory and drop fax service offer a straightforward approach to production faxing.
FaxPress Premier Hardware
FaxPress Premier fax servers provide unmatched scalability for the growing enterprise. With Intel® Dialogic® 33.6 analog fax modem boards and driver software pre-installed, FaxPress Premier is available in 4, 8, 12 or 16 line versions. Additional FaxPress Premier servers can be added to the network without having to replace existing units, since the FaxPress Premier is easily configured for load sharing and is also backward compatible with the existing FaxPress server products.
As a dedicated network fax server, FaxPress Premier provides client workstations with access to incoming and outgoing faxes, phonebooks, transaction logs and other fax-related data via Faxmain®, the FaxPress Plus fax transmission and server administration utility. FaxPress Premier’s email gateways provide a variety of fax and email integration options, allowing fax messages to be sent and received directly from a number of mail clients.
Secure Web Interface
The FaxPress Premier's Secure Web Interface provides a secure, web-based server configuration, administration, and faxing utility that can be used to manage Premier users and administer Premier units, as well as send and receive faxes.

FaxPress Enterprise is Castelle's newest addition to our family of network fax servers. FaxPress Enterprise is a digital solution for T1, E1 and ISDN environments, and is ideally suited for organizations with high fax traffic.
Enhanced Fax Server Hardware
The FaxPress Enterprise builds on FaxPress Premier hardware features and has been significantly enhanced to improve performance. To better support customers in a Microsoft Windows 2003 environment, FaxPress Enterprise includes Microsoft's Windows Server 2003 based SAK 3.0. Castelle has also replaced the processor with an Intel Pentium 4 processor, and upgraded the internal memory to 1 GB.
FaxPress Enterprise T1
The FaxPress Enterprise T1 can be installed with either a fractional T1 board to provide 8 channels across a fractional T1 line, or one to three T1 fax boards to support from 24 to 72 channels across a T1 line(s).
FaxPress Enterprise E1 and ISDN
For international markets, FaxPress Enterprise is available in an E1 configuration with support for fractional E1 or full E1 up to 90 channels, and ISDN configurations from 2 to 24 channels per server. FaxPress Enterprise E1 and ISDN configurations incorporate V.34 protocol with transmission speeds up to 33.6 KB/s for sending and receiving faxes simultaneously on all channels.

FaxPress Enterprise Redundant is the newest addition to Castelle's FaxPress Enterprise family of digital fax servers, providing an all-in-one redundant fax solution for T1, E1 or ISDN environments. Duplicated and backup hardware components provide increased reliability for business-critical faxing. Its server-class hardware closely monitors the system, sending notification to the administrator in the event of a failure. Features providing improved availability include:
- Dual hot swappable hard disk drives
- RAID technology for disk mirroring
- Dual hot swappable power supplies
- Dual hot swappable cooling fans
- Dual Gigabit Ethernet connectivity with client cross over support

Redundant Hardware Components
The redundant components of FaxPress Enterprise Redundant address and eliminate common points of potential failure. The FaxPress Enterprise Redundant server hardware is built around an Intel-based mother board with 1GB of memory, 2MB cache, and dual 100/1GB NIC connections. It includes a RAID 1 controller, two serial 80GB disk drives, two removable power supplies and fans.
Automatic Failover
The FaxPress Enterprise can also be configured for single or multiple digital connections to allow for automatic failover if the connection to the service provider is lost.
FaxPress Enterprise runs on Castelle's FaxPress Plus software for sending and receiving faxes using the Castelle client, email, production applications, or via the internet.
T1, E1 and ISDN Configurations
The FaxPress Enterprise Redundant T1 can be installed with a fractional T1 board to provide 8 channels across a fractional T1 line, dual fractional T1 boards, or one to three T1 fax boards to support from 24 to 72 channels across a T1 line(s).
